My Dad just got a Z10 and is having difficulty with the volume control. He accidentally hits the volume buttons on the side when he's receiving a call, then can't figure out how to get the volume back up to hear who is on the other end of the call. I thought, on the Bold, you could disable or re-assign the volume control on the side of the phone for other functions ~ I could just be remembering wrong ~ anyway, is there a way to do that on the Z10? Thanks in advance!

You should always be able to use the volume up and down buttons to adjust the sound levels. If the max volume is too low, you can set it higher by accessing Main Volume in Settings. Your dad probably hit the mute button (the middle botton) by mistake. Just hit the middle button again to unmute it.

Thank you! He's still on a learning curve with this, used the Bold forEVER, so this is all foreign to him.
