Because that's the option I got for my re contract offer from them. It's 999 unlimited surf. As discussed here, the bbmax 599 won't be offered anymore, although it's still working for me now (no one knows until when). Globe released the St100-2 to me.

The service agent in the store said so. It just so happened that they ran out of it last Wednesday.

They say -2 is faster than -1 because -2 uses Snapdragon

So that means I should use either SuperSurf or PowerSurf to take advantage of the LTE? Becuase if I use BBMAX it wouldn't support LTE?

Hi fotpot, is that confirmed? Does it mean the data plan of globes 999 passes through a different system altogether compared to the data plan of 599 bbmax?

No both has the same processor, it is just that 2 is lte capable if your sim is lte

LTE will work on any data plan as long as your device is LTE capable and your SIM is also LTE

That is what i know too. Even if you are on bbmax as long as your sim is lte capable and you are in an area that's lte as well, it should work. I maybe wrong.

I have the same understanding as well. Anyway, what icon should appear on the signal area to confirm if I get LTE? I am on BBmax with a z10 v. 2 w/ an LTE sim from Globe. I do get H+ at times, depending on area.

H+ is hspa. When it is lte there is an LTE signal but i could be wrong again. That is the signal i got from smart when i was still using iphone 5. It showed LTE.
