    Default bb 10 ..bbm contacts

    I hope that. it wont be a pain importing the bbm contacts from the old phones to the new bb
    as I personally I have quite a few ,and some are living very far

    Should be easy since your contact list is tied to your BBID

    Besides the addition of voice, that is probably the biggest benefit to bbm 7, it will ease the transition to bbm for bb10.

    unfortunately for me i would be coming from an os 5 device, i read somewhere they plan on releasing a bbm7 update for os 5, i hope this holds true and i'm not left out in the cold but i'm sure if that fails the desktop manager would be there to aid in the transition.

    Should be no 'importing' required. Type in your BBID, and it should pull down your info.
    Remember to RTFM.

    Word is that it will be launched in january,im guessing sometime before BB10 in order to make the transition for all OS version to BB10 easier

    typing the BBID and pulling the info does it have the Contacts as well??
