I've seen a few threads on z10 battery performance and I'm curious as to what's normal. I see high usage for system pim and standby, at least higher than anything else.

Is this normal?

depends how many accounts you got going

Gmail and a Facebook account.

That seems high. I don't do Facebook but maybe others know - has it been a battery sucker?

Not normal. Do this: turn the phone off completely, then take the battery out, then push the power button and hold it for 30 seconds. Them leave the battery out for 1 hour. your system should go way down and be below your display readout. This assumes it's not a runaway android app?? Post another screen shot of your memory.

It seems that your device is most time in standby.

If you get a lot of notifications from your accounts or BBM - it could be normal.

But I don't know how many malls you receive over your day.

I don't get a lot of emails. I am on BBM (not voice) quite frequently.

The phone hasn't really been a battery pig until recently.

Before I started the thread, I let the battery run down to zero, pulled the battery out for about 15 mins. Plugged it back it and used it for a bit while charging ( BBM voice call).

Here is a pic of current battery use and memory. It is a short sample size.

It appears your system is more in order but it is a small sample. I'm guessing your getting much better battery life now?

Looks "Ok" to me, Except PIM looks slightly high.

Maybe try deleting your email accounts from the Hub, turn off phone, battery pull. Restart the phone and sync your accounts again?

I think 14 hours is the norm for a Z10 to be honest.
