    There are a few apps that can do it but you have to leave them open as a live tile.

    You can check your battery percentage by going into "Settings", click "About", and then go to "Hardware."

    Sadly, there's no way to make it show up on the home screen without an app.

    Hopefully next update they will add it on the screen. I don't like having an app for it.
