My charging takes a lil longer like 2hours for full charge.. but trust me battery is beast like... earlier 4hrs n now directly 12plus...
I declare the z10 now the worlds best phone

I'm just curious - for those of you who were getting 4 hrs, how heavily were you using your phones? I can't say my battery is so much better on 1803 bc I just got my current z10 last week, but my first z10 would go 12-14 hrs with moderate use. My Q even longer.

My Z10 on 10.1 started getting terrible battery life. Moderate usage and it was gone in 4 hrs or less.

Battery guru said I was using about -1.2 watts in standby.

I deleted the NFL Mobile app and restarted my device after noticing the app opened on its own.

Now I'm down to using -.02watts or less in standby, and my battery is getting me through my day.

Interesting. My battery life dropped by 50% with the 10.2 update. I was getting through the day and now I have to recharge once or twice a day. Same usage.

Battery life had been around 9-10 hours on 10.1 but when I updated to 10.2 and did a wipe and restore, batt life was cut down to 3-4 hours. The Z10 was using 1-1.2 watts on standby and up to 1.5-2.5 watts while in use.

I did a wipe but NO restore and it cured my battery problem. Now I am getting 10-11 hours, which is nice. The phone is now using almost 0 watt on standby and 1-2 watts while in use.

If you do a clean restore, do you have to manually add your contact back in after that? Cos I don't plan on a clean restore as I fear my contacts might be lost. I'm in the official 10.2 and I get 4-5 hours only it's mad I had to switch back to my iphone

I synced my contacts to Google so I immediately got them back upon adding the account. Another alternative is to use a contact manager (i.e ContactX) and backup from there or sync to Outlook and then sync back. I haven't tried those two alternatives though, so proceed with caution. Also if you use Password Keeper, you need to move the content to another password manager (I use Enpass)

After the BlackBerry turned off, did you try to turn it back on without charging? From my experience, either the battery needs recalibration or needs to be changed.
