    I have a Z10 running on 10.3.1.1581

I was away this weekend and it was the first time I was going to use my "extra" battery (the one that comes in the plastic case with a usb connection on it).

Well, on Saturday night when my battery died I switched it and my phone was just flashing red. I tried putting back the old battery then the new battery and nothing happened. I thought "well, maybe I didn't charge the new battery correctly" or something so just gave up on it.

The next day I plugged in the charger and once I got the phone to boot I saw the battery had over 90%

Later that day I decided to switch the battery again as it was getting low on power and I had the same issue (flashing red light). What I think I did was remove the battery, hold the power button down and THEN plug in the new battery.

Is this a common thing with the Z10 when switching batteries? Anyone have more details on what the procedure is (did I recall correctly how I got it to work without plugging it into a charger).
