Seriously. Did a respected company like BlackBerry actually put a larger battery in a device (Q10) that uses less battery power than their other unit that uses more power (Z10)? That just doesn't make any sense to me.

Form factor and expectations.

I'm sorry I don't expect my 4 inch sized smartphone to last 24 hours and I also do not want it to be bulky, wide, or too skinny. Disproportionate full touch smartphones are annoying

The Q10 is meant to be the new solid dependable business phone. They need it to last a long time with heavy all-day usage, hence the larger battery.

Since the Z10 has a removable battery, can't you just buy a bigger battery for it anyway?

Still nuts. I would love to buy a bigger battery. I just can't seem to find one in market or after market. I'd be grateful if anyone knows of one.

Can't seem to find an extended battery either, shame.

The Q10 battery looks like it might fit in the Z10 though, worth giving that a shot.
