Hello,
Apologies if this is in the wrong location, but I saw nothing that directly applied to the situation I am experiencing.
I've had BBs for a while now and this one, for me, is the best. However, I am having a bit of trouble with being able to back it up. Even though the device shows its connected and Windows 7 Pro shows the device in Device Manager, BB Link is not connecting. The error message reads: "Unable to sign into your Blackberry ID. Confirm you are connected to the Internet and try again."
I have no problem signing into Blackberry World and it shows the correct device.

I have re-downloaded the software, uninstalled then reinstalled, ensured the cable is connected directly into the PC and all the stuff I could think of, but no luck. I posted this problem in RIM's Blackberry Link form, but no-one replied.
Can anyone here give me some ideas?

Are you connected to your BBID In the Link software? Check the upper right corner of the PC link software and you should see the email address of your BBID
