I'm wondering what could be in that Starter kit?
A bigger version was also given in the emails sent out.

so... who else wants one NOW. and would pay iPhone prices or Note2 prices for it...
Wow, that is one sexy/elegant looking phone right there. Bravo to the #BlackBerryTeam. It looks like it would pair well with a high-end/luxury super car. Now only if I owned a BB10 and a koenigsegg agera r =)
That Starter Kit thing is from App World. It's on my phone first thing when I pull it up.
I don't think they can use carbon fiber, it blocks out radio signals.
Isn't the back of the 9900 carbon fiber?
Nothing new here. Most sistas look good from the back................
I was just looking at the enhanced brightness/contrast version and had a "flash" ... gimme some smooth glow colors notifications behind that grid ... oh, please ... please !!!
This is Frank Boulben's work at its best.:D...lots more to come on the lead up to the launch.
small holes to keep the BB on your hands a little more attached, to avoid it dropping IMHO
No the back of the 9900/9930 is made of a glass composite allowing for the NFC antenna. The cell, wifi, and bluetooth antennas are inside the bottom bezel of the phone.
SOOOO sexy!!! I wouldnt be upset if the N series back looked like that either!! *Grins*
Yep definetely looks like its taking elements of all things BB.Bold leather, metallic colours,PB back. This defienetly gonna have that premium Boss status look.Top it all of the vibrant colour depth in this phone probably best I have seen thats on dev devices not fully powered.
Its well worth the wait to get quality product thanks for not rushing Thor .
RIM always come through with amazing hardware, but tends to disappoint with sub-par software. i genuinely felt that the software was going to kill it, but critics would be disappointed with the hardware that was leaked earlier. This back cover is incredible.
I was comparing the grip and 'feel in the hand' of my 9930 with my wife's iPhone5, and i have to admit (maybe a bias?) but although the weight and the size of the iPhone is nice, the feel in the hand is just not as nice as my 9930. RIM definitely has a competitive advantage over any other phone manufacturer in this bc i definitely feel they always 'got' what it takes to build hardware that feels right in the hand and is actually tough as nails at the same time. Now with QNX, this may be the time that RIM can take it to the next level.
Can I just say im not liking these teasers anymore. They are killing me. Damn RIM is keeping the final hardware under lock and key.
I like that a lot. Definitely does not look like the eval unit pics we have been seeing.
The glass composite is true for the back of the 9900 series for the nfc to be able to work, but the radio, wifi and blutooth and gps are spread across the backplate of the phone. The top right Is the mobile radio then the others expand down the left side (assuming you are looking at a backplate from the front) I've taken apart multiple 9900's lol.
good point. this shows that what we have seen leaked is only semi-final hardware (thank god!). i was/am hoping for that.
Looks pretty sweet, but too bad it will be covered up by an Otterbox case
Im sick of waiting
I thought NFC didn't work with carbon fiber either, that's why the back of the 9900/9930 isn't REAL carbon fiber, it just looks that way...
You can say that again
I'd much rather it be the same material as the stuff on the back of the playbook.
so now we're back in the dark and don't know what the production l-series look like...not bad RIM 1/30/2013
