Looks like RIM just updated their Blackberry 10 webpage to show a teaser of what the back cover looks like for the L-Series. Aluminum? (Like the Mac Pro), Carbon Fiber? Rubber? What do you think?

It's not aluminium or any of the stuff you mentioned, this is pure sex.

But to be honest, it looks very much like the back of a nexus 7. Which is made of a very fine material indeed. It provides very good grip, and looks premium.

In order to support NFC it won't be aluminum. My guess is a form of carbon fibre. And yes it does look very sexy.

Ya didn't notice that. Considering the material on the back cover of the Nexus 7 was generally well received, it wouldn't be a bad thing for the L-Series to be made of the same material.

As long as they don't make it in white or any other color aside from black.

On my playbook it looks like the texture stops at the bottom of the volume buttons. Maybe texture grip for landscape usage? Also, the highlight at the top of the device seems too hot for a flash or backlighting... Could it be some sort of secondary notification light? I couldn't see just a top mounted led.. Possibly projector or front facing led for front facing camera?? Wild speculation.

Camera and flash. Just like, you know.. on every Dev Alpha. That's all you're gonna get, nothing up top unless that's where they're putting the power button lol.

Wow...just for a backside...it's making me tremble with excitement. Lookin' hot BB.

I was right to be suspicious about those L-series leaks being final hardware. It's just absolutely crazy if the real thing leaked before the actual launch. Now I'm really excited for all the other surprises RIM is still hiding in their black box.

Carbon fiber would be awesome and sleak...have it on my laptop and it is beautiful.
