the arabic keyboard is so hard to use on Z10 and Z30 !!

The number of the letters in the english language is 26 letter .
They are big and perfect in the keyboard of the blackberry z10 . To make the arabic keyboard easy and big like the english keyboard , i want some letters to combine in one button . These are the letters : 1_ ( ي ، ى ، ئ ) in one button
2_ (و ، ؤ) in one button
3_( ا ، ء ) in one button
4_(ه ، ة ) in one button
5_(ض،ص)

First row consists of 10 characters
Second row consists of 10 characters
Third row consists of 7 characters ،With a mark shift and Eraser =9 Buttons
When selecting a button shift . It is possible to choose these characters ( ء ، ى ،ي ، ئ ، ؤ ض )
It is better like this

they try to mimick the standard arabic keyboard layout Arabic Keyboard ™ ???? ???????? ???????
long press the alef and more options will pop out same when you long press the ( ha)
I only swipe type in arabic indeed typing each letter is a pain ...

Actually the arabic keyboard on the Z10 is pretty satisfactory to me, it makes typing really easy and fast .. I only type one handed though so key spacing hasn't really been an issue..

ARABIC keyboard
width of squares are not like english in whatsoever
english letter width is so nice in typing without any mistakes at all
in arabic i don't know why they are adding some letters
they can simply put them under ONE square coz they look alike so user will choose
like when u keep holding the square they will appear instead of killing space with no reason !!!
example
و & ؤ
هـ & ـه & ـة
ي & ئ & ى
ء & أ
all those letters can be under 3 squares only ! so there will much space for Arabic typing ppl
based on that the width will allow people write arabic normally like they do with english
when someone type arabic its very hectic coz mistakenly we touch different letter

Adding that shift thing to type another letter is gonna slow down your typing experience and I think it's good like that

No, BlackBerry should be able to help though. They have a few different support channels, CrackBerry is not one of them.

Well after buying the z10 i agree with you English buttons are bigger and easier to type . I hope blackberry fix this asap

I was looking for discussion on Arabic keyboard on 10.3 and came across this one. Wanted to point out that 10.3 has absolutely beautiful Arabic type face x_x



Besides that, OP, the list you have mentioned is not visible in the CB app, shows up as symbols. Anyway, yes, auto complete makes Arabic much easier to type.

Well fro my perspective Arabic is hideous in 10.3 i hope they return it to the stock one which we're using right now.
