sometimes I'm holding my phone in portrait and open a new app. The app opens up in landscape and no matter how much shaking and tilting I do, it won't change screen orientation to portrait. I end up closing the app and reopening.

Does this happen to anyone else? It's slightly annoying at best. Infuriating at worst.

Is the app supposed to open up in some landscape position? I mean..obviously if u r opening an app like asphalt or a raving game. U have to play it in landscape mode.. n it the app can be operated in portrait..then consider turning off auto rotating from the drop down menu at the home screen..."rotation lock"

Thanks for the tip. The apps I'm talking about operate in both portrait and landscape. It happens to the CB10 app sometimes. But it's not alone. I think it's an OS issue, not app.

It happens with mine most often with the Crackberry app and browser. I'd say about 10 percent of the time.
