    I saw a post on this but can't seem to find it now, but when I delete an app it's removed from my home screen but if I restart my phone it's still there. How do I get around this issue?

    See what you need to do is that delete the apps and hold your power button for 30 seconds regardless of the countdown to phone shutoff
    After you're done
    The phone should restart with out the apps showing up again
