what checking out app world, my world and it said i have 8 updates facebook twitter etc anyone else got this? im in uk on orange not 4g case that makes a difference

it was foursquare bb news stand,connect to dropbox, box, twitter, faceboook, linkedin and blackberry maps

Don't have mine yet but it's nice to see they're moving quickly with updates.

I am not using all of above but did got an update for FB, twitter and Foursquare. I am on O2 UK

Oh and by the way, if you don't get a notification and you still go to that particular app in BB World, it will show you update option on right top corner

after i checked 'my word' and went back to mome screen there was a bell symbol with 8 by it and all 8 updates appeared in the hub saying what version they were updating to, i dont use most of the apps but they are still on handset. checked os but thats up to date

Correct me if I am wrong roosterroo, those bell notifications only appeared after you went to that application in BB World right?
Because that's how I got my notifications, none of the notifications were pushed out automatically by just opening BB World. Strange!

yeh there was nothing on my 'home screen' until after i came out of my world in app world then i wondered what '8 bells' was and they were all listed in the hub

I am looking on the BlackBerry World website and FaceBook isnt up there...are apps missing? Will BB release whatsapp and skype on Tuesday for teh Canadian launch?
