I was on Wifi last night all night as I was working at home. This morning I get a message from AT&T that my data limit is reached. I was confused as I had over 60 MB left and today is the last day of the billing cycle and tomorrow is fresh new limit.

So I went online to check and last night there was a 60 MB data download. I did not download any app, I didn't do any BBM voice/video call, so I was not sure how this happened. I checked further more of my data bill and found a week ago, there was a data burst of 30 MB. I am pretty sure I didn't do it as I have no apps on my phone (only facebook). I play all my games with iPhone 5. I only do exclusive BBM on my Z10. Not even email...

To further prove this, only couple days ago my sister data limit is also reached. I talked to her to see if she downloads any data or whatnot. She said no, she rarely use data on her Z10 as well. I took close look today and there was 50 MB and 30 MB data download as well.

I am worried about this data leaks similar to what Apple had when they first rolled out their iOS 6. Some users reported a data leak from Wifi to cellular network that made users reach their data limit.

    Anyone has this issue before?

    Thanks.

No, I turn off that feature the first thing I got the phone. Same as my sis as I set her phone as well.

I should have include more details in my first post, but somehow I forgot

mnc76, both of the Z10 do not have Box or drop box, or any type of cloud service. My sister has couple of games, but I am sure even games do not do a 60 MB burst at one shot. I checked her Z10, and her apps stay the same

The only activity or app that I can think of that would pull in big data is
    1. youtube (watching movie)
    2. facebook (downloading video), but I don't know if FB allows a one shot burst of 60 MB
    3. Maps (but I don't think BB Maps support offline maps)

Do you have Box set to automatically synch pictures and video?

Is the diagnostics setting being on known to drain battery and use data?

Battery drain is doubtful, but it definitely uses data.
