Tried the battery pull. It fixed the problem for about half an hour and then back to same old glitch. Texts don't update or Facebook etc. Very frustrating to not even be able to see new texts unless you go into the old one.

Just dawned on me, have you done a Hub restart? Five swipes down from the upper right while in the Hub.

The only issue I am having after the update is poor battery life. I can't get through one day on a full battery. I have had the phone less than 2 weeks. Anybody else with battery issues?

I've called my Carrier 2x now and spoke with "two" Blackberry Individuals that didnt have a clue about what I was talking about.
I've confirmed... KB34244-The error "Your device is connected to a network but the Internet service is not available. Check your network settings." is received when setting up an ActiveSync account

that.... they don't plan on doing anything about it right now.

Spoke to a number of people who have indicated that if done via hardwire connection through Link there are no issues. Seems that doing it direct to the phone over wifi is the problem....

I've seen iPhones have the same issue.

Tried the swipes to reload the hub. Didn't fix issue. I've wiped phone. Then restored using BlackBerry Link. That doesn't solve either. I've spoken to my carrier Telus...they have no answers. I'm stuck with a phone that won't update texts in the hub no matter what I do....a phone I use to love! I really hope the next update is soon and will fix this. I seem to be the odd person out with this issue. And doesn't prediction seem worse now typing? I type a word correctly and it changes it....good grief!

I'm on the same version as you are and didn't have a problem with battery till about 5 days in.

I noticed the battery drain fast and my phone was getting hot as it started draining, I was trying to figure out what was going on and what was causing it. The only change I did in the 5 days was upgrade all the apps for 10.1

I then tried the tips and tricks advised in the forums and it didn't change the battery issue, so I did the following:

Logged out of Facebook and Twitter and have not had the heat issue since and my battery lasts way more then it it did on 10.0

I haven't logged back into Facebook or Twitter since and will log back in tomorrow but one by one and see if it's twitter or Facebook or both together and see what the outcome is.

By the way another thing I also did was allow the phone to switch off from the battery drain and then plug it in the charger, touch wood but since then I get over 14 hrs with moderate use easy.

My phone finally switched off at 0625 AM the next day after my night shift, I unplugged from the charger the previous day at 0200 PM launched battery guru at 0300 PM as you can see from the graph. Again the only thing I did was log off from face book and Twitter.

I have no clue if that was the reason but it's worked for me, now my next test is to log back in and see if there is any change.

That wasn't caused by just the update. I've had to reload my OS twice and when I restored from a BlackBerry Link backup, I lost all the bluetooth profiles. Had to pair the devices again. :-(

Yes! My brother updated this phone and now is laggy when he minimize the active frames, I told him to wipe the device, he did it but he still has the problem. Going back to 10.0.10

No issues here. Seems to be a bit snappier and battery life has improved. Happy that whatsapp has its own place in the hub haha.

yes it was caused by the update. Reinstalled it twice now, and each time tried multiple removal and repairing of the devices. it surely is caused by the update, and I've seen others having this problem as well :-(

I did update the OS to 10.1.0.273 version, and I encountered the following problems:
1 If I add a contact phone number in the format of the country (Romania) without the country code eg 0740xxxxxx, when I receive an SMS from that person, it shows me only the number in international format eg +40740 xxxxxx instead of contact name. if I add the contact number international format, it shows me the contact name when receiving sms, but when I receive a call from that person, it shows me only its number, but without country code.
2 I did about 5 pictures and the camera locked and never returned until I did not restart the phone and after restart did not save the last picture (while camera locked, could not get into gallery images).
3 in photo gallery, some pictures are displayed as a black image, but when i open one of this black images to full screen mode, the picture is shown ok.

My pics are still on the fone and sd card though if I check thru file manager. I don't understand why the picture gallery won't load. Help.

I backed up my data and did a security wipe. Now everything's working smoothly with the 10.1 yay!
