Inbetween the side volume up and down rocker there is a middle part. click on it for pause and play in your media apps.

I believe what he means in that if they change it they shouldn't take out that feature of seeing what is currently playing and the ability to play / pause and skip songs when you turn up or down the volume by the side buttons. Most importantly, the fact that you fan see what is playing without having to check the music app

And btw I too absolutely love that feature, makes everything simpler

I was trying the middle button and it wasn't working for me but now it is, I think my timing was off, regardless I still really like to see what is playing and control it easily while in a other app.

As long as they keep it the same when you are listening to music etc while doing something else. For example when I'm listening to music and surfing the Web, it then allows me to view what I'm listening to and pause/skip the track. I love that feature

Ideally I wish they could find a way to have this pop up box appear without changing the volume one way or the other. Maybe something like a double tap, etc? This was actually a very useful feature that I used extensively on my iPhone. Maybe even have the song info appear at the bottom when you do a home swipe up (which currently shoes your notifications on the side and leaves the bottom totally empty. )

Did one that's about twice as big. This should be good enough? The icons are about the same size as the icons on the top bar.

It is opaque already, you can't see through it at all, it is a big square box. I think you mean more transparency. Or less opacity.
