Subject says all. I hate starting a new thread, but this is the easiest way to make I get some sort of representative answer.

I installed the update OTA on Tuesday night. It was pretty smooth, under an hour and none of the commonly reported issues. I got woken up at 5 this morning by the email sound. Sure enough, bedside mode was gone and the reboot time was indicated at around 2:30 AM

I have the same problem since I installed the latest update 10.1.0.4181 my Z10 randomly restarts. I never had any problems with it since day one.

Bump. Anyone else? Doesn't sound like it, but just trying to make sure.

Just had one here. Phone was sitting idle in my pocket.

On Rogers... got the MR the day it came out

Only way I noticed the reboot was that my battery app was no longer running.

I had the occasional on, say one or two a month before.

I was going to post today that it might have passed the test because there haven't been any reboots for a week. Ironically, it just rebooted. So yeah, I'll have to try the memory card removal test. I am beginning to suspect the radio stack as someone mentioned in another thread because after the reboot there was a new BBM message with a timestamp of about the time of the reboot; tough to tell these days because the reboot time is so short compared to OS7.

Several people have pointed out that a poor fitting battery can cause reboots. Maybe?

Yeah by now one has to concede hardware issues. I didn't have reboots even on 10.0 so I must have gotten a good phone.

I haven't had a reboot yet since the update, and the reboots were really bad prior to that. Just keep my fingers crossed and hope this is a permanent fix!

Not at all, the update seems to have fixed the problem.

My Z10 randomly rebooted a couple of times after the update. But for now it appears to have stopped and has been running smoothly and stable for 5 days.

Not in my case. I can shake, press and bang the phone without any consequences.

I figure the reboots will probably go away slowly, and as a techie person I don't mind having a "less than perfect" system or waiting. But I'd like to know the root cause of the problem, purely for academic interest. BlackBerry seems to have figured it out because the MR has more or less put it in the past.

Well the first 10.1 update fixed it for me. Zero reboots after that. Don't have the MR yet. But it's already been fixed for me. So it does seem to be an OS problem.

The 1st two days after updating to the 10.1 MR my phone didn't reboot but has every night since except last night. It rebooted almost nightly on the charger before the MR but rarely off the charger & still now no reboots off the charger, only when plugged in. I too would be very interested in knowing what the cause is as there seems to be no real reason anyone can nail down with authority.

I only had a reboot once, it was on my trip to TO right before the MR update in Canada. The phone rebooted once, about an hour after I landed in TO.

I can report that here, in Montral, before and after 10.1 MR, I don't have a reboot problem.

I have had my Z10 since May, and have never had a reboot (with 10.0 or 10.1.) It is a ST100-4, on Verizon.

If the reboots persist, I'll try to get someone at BlackBerry or my service provider to explain. Or maybe I can try to exchange my Z for a Q10.

Mine rebooted about 4 or 5 times a week. After going to 10.1 and 10.2 for about a week I haven't had any reboots. On Verizon with a 64G memory card.
