Mine took a pretty hard smack and it appears the lens, not the cover is cracked.
I'll post a picture later.

Any leads on camera replacement?
Looks pretty straightforward, but looking for an inexpensive part source in Canada.

The clear lens cover isn't broken, but the lens is clearly broken, floating around inside the camera. If you shake it, it sounds like maracas, esp. When the back cover is removed. No other issues from dropping the phone though.

Couldn't see the pic earlier (damn filters) pretty puppy reminds me of our middle pup, all black, skinny, floppy ears.

Hope you find a source, I haven't seen any yet.

Dragging up an old thread. . Did you find the part in Canada? I need one too.. see one on ebay for 10 bucks but shipping to Canada 22! That's nuts.

The camera has movement within the housing. I have three Z10 and all have a camera jiggle.
- the camera is a self contained piece and doesn't make any more noise when the back is off.
You are hearing these contacts.
Trap it with your thumb and shake the phone.



My daily driver has a damaged lens cover which I had to remove in order to take a proper picture.
Now the camera is ruined (still working) from contamination from debris and whatnot.
My phone with the good camera and smashed screen has movement inside also.
I highly doubt that the camera is broken.
I work in construction. No lens cover, rain,mud,repeated drops with no case, and it still works. Pictures are cloudy but no friggin wonder.

Shiiiity! The phone fix it guys I went to said that the camera housing was about a hundred bucks. More than likely find a way cheaper price online and do it yourself. Be careful taking it apart.
