ANTI BLACKBERRY 10 Z10 REVIEWS why??
Ok so i moved away from the blackberry over a year ago 9900 was my last bb phone, got an iphone 4s ( no comment ) just cant see why people like it soo much, frustrating phone with APPS and GAMES... so i brought a S3 lol another joke of a phone (its on ebay as we speak selling it to get the blackberry z10) BUT the reviews all talk about ''well it doesnt have youtube app'' it lacks ''netflixs'' are these guys getting paid by google or apple to be so negative, i went and saw it for myself, been waiting till the day it comes out (yeay UK we have in already) but seriously why is the media sooo against blackberry
apps will come in time, and for example youtube app... seriously go to the website its nearly the same
i saw it, i played around with it, iv been on crackberry every chance i get to get info on it.. and it genuinely is the best phone iv seen, the typing experience is AMAZING, showed that to my friends at the phone show and they want to switch to z10, just that on its own is a best seller, never mind the little gimmicky stuff apple and google have.
does anyone know the security on this phone is awesome. if you lose the phone u can track it and deactivate is, even leave a message on the screen telling anyone that finds it to give it back ectra... how Practical is that!!!!!!!!!!!!
so frustrated when i see reviews saying its nothing new - 02-01-2013, 08:50 PM #2
ANTI BLACKBERRY 10 Z10 REVIEWS why??
i smell conspiracy by the top gamers... lol.. peeps are just pissed off by the old BB. and some probably just doesnt like BB for that reason and refused to accept the reality change that today's BB is totally different everything than the old BB.
and the blackberry protect has been with us since bbos 6. very good function and glad that you highlighted this free function provided by blackberry for our security on top of other stuffs..
and i personally did a BB protect on my friend's stolen 9800. great experience.
BB got stolen. i sent a message pop up to the phone to return it and asked the thief to return it. no answer. detected the phone thru BB protect, it was on its way out of the city (Kuala Lumpur). so we did the last option. we security wiped it thru BB protect. and until today, the phone has never been activated. (we checked by trying to add the lost torch bbpin now and then. and it still in bricked mode).
and seriously just by this particular security alone won't shift me to other makers.

Here's the deal, everyone has an agenda. I was a blackberry user for 8 years and just last years I finally have up my 9930 for the iPhone 5. I love love love blackberry but I was constantly being told by friends and family iPhone users that I was bashing a product I knew nothing about. They challenged me to use it until BB10 came out. I did and I hate this phone. Why do I hate it? The list is too long to type and I will be getting my Z10 as soon as its released in the states. All that being said, I want my platform to succeed. I'm not objective at all. I love Blackberry, I love what it has helped me accomplish in my business. Regardless of its flaws, it's still mine. A lot of these writers adopted the iPhone early and now it's. "theirs". They aren't going to be objective because they want there choice to be the "right" choice. They can validate themselves and all of their articles if BB10 were to fail.
What we are all counting on is early adopter, new smart phone owners and old loyalist to make their voices heard. Give the platform a second narrative to build from so years from now we are the ones bashing all other comers unapologetically. Truth is, we are all biased.Crappy Iphone 5...for now
January 30th is 2nd Christmas. Hope I've been good.

I had a few theories,
1) they bad mouthed BlackBerry so much before they didnt want to admit they were wrong, and/or
2) they never really put the device through its paces, read the manual, or use the device in the real world.
there are reviews that say u cant move the camera focus point, or that there is no cloud storage to upload your photos etc, both are false - 02-02-2013, 11:47 PM #10
I'm waiting for the Pocketnow review. Michael Fisher is a great reviewer who is unbiased and takes the time to try and understand the product. Joshua Topolski of the Verge seemed like he wanted to get a review out as soon as possible, before final services and updates were up.

I thought the BGR review was especially biased. I guess that's why its got the iBGR nick name.

I've been with Blackberry for years but was lucky enough to go from one of the older (better) curves straight to the bold 9790 which is very good. All those people who got stuck with the rubbish Blackberries that have been around the last few years must have gotten a pretty low opinion of the phone. I am also a bit annoyed by some of the slightly negative reviews, and it really pisses me off when people compare everything to an iPhone.
...whatever.... Hopefully BB10 will speak for it's self.I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure....

This is a joke right? I have never seen a product specific forum where people spend so much time knocking other products and the people who use as this forum.
I dont read all reviews out there obviously, but I'd have to say all of them I have read personally have been pretty positive. They all mention some issues like lack of apps, but that's not something they are making up. They are just pointing it out in the review. The reviews I have read have been pretty balanced IMO though. - 02-03-2013, 10:42 AM #16

The reviews seem to be very positive especially in the traditional media which is what most people see. Here is an example.

Of course tech sites are going to be more biased unfortunately and say their same tired old arguments but even there if you read the comments the most liked comments are from people seeing through that. - 02-03-2013, 11:35 AM #19
