I had the same thing happening to me which is very frustrating to my callers and myself! Today, I did a battery pull and that seemed to cure my issues of the lagging when answering. So far so good....

So there is a bug with the proximity sensor on the calling screen and there is no vibrating issue. Yep, thats right there is no buttery smooth os on BlackBerry(10.3.1). I have an iphone 5 and there cant be done a comparison between these 2 on smoothness. Iphone is like a dream and BlackBerry is lame. On 10.2.1 it was as fast as an iphone . Our Z10 is not an obsolete Phone. The problems are the devopers who do a ****ty job on optimizing the code, and its a shame.

Not sure (can't find any information on this subject), but BB10 screen refresh rate seems low, like in pre-JellyBean Android OS. The faster you move the objects, the worse UI lag gets. Google fixed this lag with "project butter" on JellyBean - 60Hz screen refresh rate + action predictions. It requires more processing power though, not sure our 2012 hardware devices can handle similar technology. I can see Z10 skipping entire frames even on 10.2 OS, on 10.3 is worse.

Adreno 225 is a powerful GPU. You can see a xperia t with jelly bean and only 1 gb ram working fast without any issues.
