Re: Another BB London Pic - shows off the front
Don't like the 3 piece design (the breaks above and below the screen), too reminiscent of the storm line. 1 piece smooth glass front would be better (like every other smartphone in the world).

Re: Another BB London Pic - shows off the front
if that is indeed the final version of the L-series, like said, and it'll get released looking like this.. idk what to think
it's not a bad looking device, and when the first pics started to appear i actually liked it (at least more than i do now)
but after taking a look at some of the other devices currently out there, like the iphone 5... the new gorgeous looking wp8 phones, etc. i can't help but feel this phone doesnt look nearly as good
with that being said.. im not 100% sure, but if thats the final version.. i think im a little disappointed : /
i really love blackberry and hope they'll succeed and everything will pay off for them and I'm currently considering waiting for a BB 10 device, but i also want my phone to look good!
And im not so sure this phone accomplishes that
but if we're talking about the software - what i've seen and read so far (videos, articles) - i'm impressed
it's looking really good, im super excited for BB 10 and some of the new features are just amazing. - 11-01-2012, 08:20 AM #56
Re: Another BB London Pic - shows off the front
idk, maybe it's me, but how often do you see a Windows phone or iphone pictured without the OS running. The OS really stands out on these phones, showing a background pic that is colorful and icons etc... these leaked pictures show a phone that is turned off, black and still have plastic on the screen. I think once we get a finish product, turn it on, sit it side by side other phones, it'll stand up on it's own. Just wait till you start seeing marketing and commercials....the phone will look spectacular. Those are my thoughts.

Re: Another BB London Pic - shows off the front
I hope it's not the final hardware. I want RIM to wow me with the hardware as the do with the software (BB10). And this one has a so common look. I want the front face of the device to be in one block (screen not separated)

Re: Another BB London Pic - shows off the front
u mean the rumored aristo?
but nothings been confirmed yet, and what was the rumored release date?
Q2? Q3? Q4 2013? i can't remember, but it'll certainly take at least 9+ more months, i would guess? (with the london in q1 2012 (march?) and the N series 30days later)
i really dont feel like waiting that long, especially since im still using my 9700
so hard to decide what to get ; / - 11-01-2012, 10:07 AM #60

Re: Another BB London Pic - shows off the front
doesn't look bad but its not as high end looking as I was expecting.
I will say don't judge it from these types of leaked pictures. I disliked both the design of the nexus 4 and nexus 10 when looking at the leaked photos and renders of them. But seeing more offical shots from Google and various tech site write ups I'm loving the device.

Re: Another BB London Pic - shows off the front
this picture is legit. the phone is a bit thinner than the dev alpha b and really light. slightly cheap feeling plastic finish to it, possibly not tough like an 7xxx series or a boss 8700 but it keeps the weight and heat off that big battery down.
let's all pray that this photo was not taken with another L series phone...we do not want the time warp camera to face the same fate of the 9900 autofocus ------ CAMERAGATE - 11-01-2012, 10:53 PM #67

Re: Another BB London Pic - shows off the front
What top touch screens, based on sales those would tend to be an iphone or a gs3, the former is similarly understated with the main differences being those edges on the bb10 picture and that unsleep button on the iphone and as far as the samsung you again have a similar slab of screen except that time you have a casing colour that just makes the edge of the display stand out more whereas it blends into the edge of the phone more with this bb10 device.
While it would be fair to call this phone something like understated in its design, to not call it sleek seems more than a little harsh.
