When playing music on the native music app... how do you have the album art appear when the mp3 track is playing... does the album art need to be placed in the same folder as the music itself ...

I thought you could just place the cover art in the folder and then rename it folder.jpg

I do both. It might seem excessive, but it's never failed me so far.

BlackBerry should address this problem. It should be simple, like how easy it is with the iPhone. Just add the photo to the album art tag and done.

I'm hoping BlackBerry improves their music player and adds more features to it in the future. It's one of the apps I use the most.

I use mp3 tag too. It is quite easy, I just google the album jpg and add it to the tag.

They fixed it, with the new maintenance release to BB10 10.1 the album art all works for me now.
