I know there are many posts on battery life. I'm creating a new post because I feel mine is different.

I travel a good deal for work. While I live in Canada, I almost exclusively travel to the US. In Canada on Bell, I find that I get good battery life. When I'm in the US it seems horrible to me. Yes, I anxiously use it harder while I travel, but I find it drains quickly while I'm not using it.

Has anyone experienced this? I'm not on LTE when traveling (not sure why AT&T won't give me it).

Perhaps it will improve in 10.2. My comparison are people who I travel with that are using iPhones and various Android devices. They have no problems.

You. Could try downloading the latest leaks. They are really good on battery life. It's not a fix but more of a good patch.

I have same felling with my Q10 (running latest 1791 leak). I can see huge drain (about 15-20%) on 20 minut trip by metro.

I suppose its because th� connection is changing from 4G -> 3G -> Edge all the time.

In Canada on you local network you have no problems so it's not the phone, apps or battery. I would suspect that while you are travelling and in America it is 'hunting' for signal and so using your battery.

I've been impressed with mine, although I'm rigid about checking out apps as they're installed. Once I've installed one I don't put another on until I'm happy the previous one isn't causing an issue

This is todays 12 hour usage from 9am to 9pm which is not too bad at 76% remaining

I agree. My battery drains so fast when I'm not using it and I'm receiving a bunch of messages and notifications

I have the exact same problem with battery draining fast when in the US. The only time this didn't happen was on a recent trip where I had LTE coverage. As another poster noted, maybe the Z10 is always looking for LTE? I'm on Rogers, Z10STL100-3/10.2.0.1743.
