I have one active download in Blackberry World that does not want to complete the "Installing" process, and I think it is chowing my battery time. It has been many days now.

How do I get rid of this Blackberry Newsstand update from installing?

Strange...have you tried going to "my world" then "My apps and games" then "Check for updates". If that doesn't help try a restart.

Maybe try signing in to BlackBerry World on a desktop and uninstall that app. Then try a battery pull... just guessing.

Sportsnet for me. I didn't even consider that it could be chewing up the battery. I've tried everything to make it stop too.

BlackBerry does know about this issue. Right now the only fix is to reinstall the Os. But there will be a fix in the next update.
