If you have the same SSID (I think it's called) on all your access points it shouldn't be needed.

I'll have to check. if I remember correctly I needed to change this on Legacy devices for it to work. It didn't make sense to me either lol.

Hello.

Go to settings > click networks > click wifi > click on saved on the bottom ribbon > double tap on any network in question > scroll down to the bottom and slide handover to yes or no.

You would slide this to yes in larger wireless networks where there are multiple access points with the same SSID.

With single AP or wireless router it would not be necessary.
