I would imagine Google Chrome requires Google Services to work. Try searching the forums for a work around.

I did not do an exhaustive search but just looked in the Amazon app store and did not find Chrome. I thought if there were a version in Amazon it would not need the "google services"

Maybe someone else has found it.

I'm pretty sure it needs it as it syncs your preferences etc with your Google account as well as your desktop browser via the cloud. I'm a chrome user on the desktop, but on mobile I still prefer the BlackBerry 10 browser over anything else I've used.

Yes. They are a bit laggy. 10.3 update supposed to improve this. If you wanted to use android apps, an Asus zenfone 5 would have been much better value than the z10
