$39.99 for White Z10 from Rogers

Anyone realize that the Z10 is included in the Rogers' Winter White-Hot event meaning it is $100 off of the 139.99 price tag?

They show the Z10 in the picture, but not in the fine print.

I believe if it is in that picture they can include it with the promotion, the fine print would have been written before they were allowed to mention anything about the Z10...but now that it is released, they can include the picture, but wont bother to put it in the fine print as most people will see the picture and just assume its an eligible device.

My question is this...

When will Rogers get the White Z10? will it be on Feb 5th at launch? or delayed later?

Also,

What are people's opinion on the white vs. black? I really wanted black, but for 100$ off the white, it seems stupid not to get the white one.

It may not actually be $39.99 - if you read the fine print for the other devices, you will notice that there is a varying discount:

Telus preorder has the white shipping a week after the black. Safe to assume rogers is the same

pre-ordered the white z10 from rogers at 39.99. They were willing to give me $100 off the black version too!

Yeah I just called Rogers and they were really unhelpful and the guy didn't even know anything about the white promo. Told me it's still 139.99 and maybe it will change when it's released. Guess I'll have to call back and get to customer relations as they're always like magic genies. For 40 bucks I'll take white but I'd prefer black.

Good for Rogers and Canada. That deal is as it should be. Can I come up and get that deal too?

My Blackberry Curve was a great and solid companion. I'm very happy for RIM, now Blackberry. A physical keyboard is still my favorite, but I'm flexible.
I really love the looks of the Z10.
I really hope they aren't too late to the dance. My view from here is that a lot of business (Enterprise) users will be very happy abt this! That is my hope too!

Read the above post from yours. Rogers is not giving the phone for $100 less. Rogers is saying we have to pay $139.99
