Default 365 Exchange Server and z10?

Looking move away from a pop3 mail service for work and Microsoft 365 Exchange seems like a good choice for what it offers.

Is anybody using 365 for their hosted mail?

How is it with z10 and other BB?

How quickly does mail get delivered to your device?

Our company just moved from own exchange server to the Office365 service.

It works fine with Blackberry. I read somewhere that they might offer support for BES but haven't seen anything on their page about it.

There is a free trial for Office365. If you want to have access to the Blackberry services, I think you need the E2 level. I tried it with a PlayBook and Blackberry 7 phones and the email, contacts and calendar sync was almost instantaneous. For the phones, it sets them up on a BES like service, but works on a BIS account. With the proper subscription, there was a link that brought you to a BlackBerry Enterprise server page that the administrator could use to activate phones. I don't know if the Z10 is supported in the BlackBerry Business Cloud service yet.

Some of the Enterprise versions includes the BlackBerry Business Cloud service. Below is a link to some info on the service.

Z10 will work right now with Activesync on Office 365.

Office 365 is perfect on BB10 as well as on the PlayBook. Type in your email address and password and within minutes you have all your mail, contacts, calendars and tasks. I have it set up on all my computers, phones and tablets. It integrates with Remember too.

If I start composing an email on my PC, I will see it in my phone before I even send it and I can continue composing it on any other device.

    Thanks for the feedback!

Another question is about folders and message history? Can you go back further than the 30 day limit on the Z10?

Standard active sync allows for remote search on server so you can search for older email.

But not with the Z10. I can remote search on the iPhone, Android (using Moxier Mail) but no luck on the BlackBerry Z10 to find emails older than 30 days

Perhaps your Exchange active sync policy has this feature turned off. I just confirmed I am able to do remote search of my Ex2010 mailbox successfully.

I'm using Office 365. You really can search for emails that are older than 30 days? This doesn't work on my Z10, but on the iPhone and Android.
