    HEY BlackBerry!!!!

Can you please please please develop and release a bigger battery ASAP! Hate plugging my phone in twice a day.

I'm not the only one having this problem anymore. WE NEED A BIGGER BATTERY!

    Who's with me??

Not me, I like the size I don't want to make the phone any bulkier by adding an oversize battery.
I have a spare with me and a charger nearby

If you're willing to trade-off bulk for more battery life, you can buy a PowerSkin for the Z10. At $80, it's a bit pricey, but it adds another 1500 mAh while offering device protection, and the NFC still works. PowerSkin for BlackBerry Z10

That actually doesn't look too bad. I like that it shows the charging progress

Is it not possible to carry a spare fully charged battery with you. The phone's design makes it easy to carry spares and swap your battery during the day. Unlike some closed up phones, that have less options.

Heavy users of laptops carry a spare battery. I'm not saying, I'm just saying, seems like the thing to do.

Honestly I loved my 90's Motorola flip when it weighed about 2 lbs. Weight doesn't matter too much, I wouldn't mind a bit bigger battery as well. I get a constant 12-14hrs now but more is better right?

I would totally go for a larger battery. Here is what i want:
    1. 3000mAh battery that goes in the SAME slot as the current battery. Lets get a Chinese company to make that.
    2. Replacement door, that has the NFC built in, but takes into account the extra thickness of the battery - and STILL has a flat back. Meaning - it should be a thick back door in some places so that the battery nestles into the replacement back cover.

It would make the whole phone thicker - but really only about another 2MM. And, it is totally possible, since BB did an fantastic job with the design of the back cover. Just snap it on.

This would make the phone similar to those Motorola Maxx phones = except you get to choose when you are willing to put up with the extra thickness.

I'm pretty sure that if there was some sort of magical battery technology that allows twice the power in the same space, then the Chinese would be the last to come up with it.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Q10 battery roughly the same size with higher power capacity?

The capacity of a battery is proportional to its volume. There has been linear improvement in energy density for lithium ion batteries since they were first invented, but no matter how much you pay any company, it is physically impossible to significantly increase the capacity of the battery without increasing the volume of the battery. The only blame lies on whomever invented chemistry.

Energy density - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I agree it would be cool for the industrial design to allow a user-selectable battery size, but the cost would probably outweigh the benefit. If you're really killing a battery before the day is up and you really don't have regular access to a plug-in or vehicle charger, is carrying a second battery all that bad?

That is because the battery life on that is 2,100mAh compared to the 1,800mAh on the Z10. Even tho its a little bit bigger, it still gives better battery life. My buddy has a Developers Q10 & he said the battery life is a bit better on the Q10 then the Z10.

There's a lot of ways the Q10 has better battery life than the Z10, which Crackberry has gone over already. http://m.crackberry.com/five-reasons...e-mind-blowing

We have a number of Z10's. We don't have battery issues under normal use. We have a number of Blackberry auxiliary battery units for these phones. They work very well. They can be stacked together to give a lot more power. I ordered them from Crackberry. I also saw these on the Futureshop site. Check the link below.
