Am i the only one who thinks the battery backup of z10 was better on 10.2.1?
Battery is draining really fast for me

Don't know how many days do i need to wait for the o.s to settle

Plus there is a lag of like 2 seconds when i open the pictures

And certainly lag in opening android apps like coc or even the opera mini

    Any suggestions?

It takes up to three days sometimes, try a few hard resets by holding your power button down until you see the blue loading circle.

about 2 days for the battery to settle and the OS to work itself in. open and close all your android apps at least once and then see if they are any better. other than that, nothing you can do.

Android apps used to open faster when i was on 10.2.1
But lets wait and let the o.s settle

In my experience battery life is best on 10.2.2.1609 OS, better than any 10.3.x version.

If everyone is suffering from the battery draining problem (or most of us),then they might release a minor update too i guess

You basically made a big jump from 10.2 to 10.3.1 I would recommend remove at the downloaded apps and then do security wipe. Once u have done this then install every single app from BlackBerry World but you must download and install all the fresh apps and your battery will improve.

Secondly go to apps and permission and close all the apps with are running in background

If you do a security wipe you will lose all your stuff, do not do this unless your willing to set everything back up.

I have it on all my Z10s and Z30s. Battery is as good or better than ever.

Just let it settle for a few days, and delete the apps you don't really need. Make sure you're only syncing contacts to one cloud source.

It worked for many users please make sure u make back up of your photos and videos it seems something is eating your battery and by doing sw it will get better. Best of luck but if u fear of losing data then better not to try

Is turning on location services killing the battery faster on 10.3 than it used to on 10.2.1?

It might be, use the quick settings from swiping from the top down and toggle on when you need it.

There are no guarantees regarding Internet posts. Everything is at your own risk.

You just have to do what you feel comfortable with.

BTW, battery life on my Z10 has always been poor. From the day I got it 14 months ago, through all manner of official and leaked OS updates, to now. My battery never did any better. On the plus side, it never got worse, either.

Superman Aid, do a complete back up of your phone, it will save what is needed to make CoC come back to life.
