Hey, sorry if this has been posted elsewhere and also for my lack of knowledge surrounding the actual name of the bit I'm talking about!


Since I updated to 10.2 the bar at the bottom of the screen doesn't work! When I press - nothing happens! To make phone calls I know have to either find the phone button itself or go to contacts! I've tried multiple restarts and still have the same problem!

Is there any other solution??

Happened to me too (the bar totally disappeared) but only intermittently. Last time I had it, I opened camera via camera app and the bar is back afterwards.

hi,

I got a lot of problems after my update. The phone is acting crazy. I made a reset and nothing changed. Cannot be called and cannot make phone calls but the phone is showing good signal. What is disappointing is the fact it is not acting like a reliable device anymore. I hope these are isolated problems and they can fix it.

It was checked already. This wasn't the only problem. The phone was doing random resets and not answering to commands. The provider agreed to change the device next week. They said it is not a software problem. Hopefully they are right. I really like BB10.

I turned on pc to do the whole picture as a lock screen different to background thing. My bar disappeared. I turned off pc to see if it came back but it didn't however after turning them back on again it did! :s

Check the parental controls

I've also read that this can work. Parental controls can limit what can be done on the phone if enabled.

The bottom bar disappears when I open an folder. It comes back when I turned parental controls off.

I don't think reloading will solve the issue. Its a OS bug. Hopefully it will be removed in next update.

I'm having all sorts of problems as well. Basically the only thing that works is my phone. My apps, Hub, camera, etc. are not functioning!

Be patients, just turn off parental control and then turn it on again, it will solve your problem, work like a charm

I know the workaround, but frankly I like having a different lock screen (something bbry should already offer).

Does anybody with a leak know if this is resolved in 10.2.1?
