Hi All,

Its been about 48 hours since I updated to 10.2 (i never had a leak installed prior) and I am having an issue with unlocking my screen.

As usual unlocking from the bottom to the top works fine. however if the screen locks while i was in an app, when I unlock I don't get to peak at the app running in the background as I used to in 10.1. This time I just swipe and i see black, till i full unlock the device i can see the app that was running. This happens in multiple apps not just one. Has anyone experienced this issue?
I have restarted multiple times, I even did the hold down the power button till blue loading bb logo appears.
Anyone else experience this?

Also battery drain has been pretty harsh since doing the upgrade. I know i've read some battery drain threads around, so has anyone notice the battery drain decrease slowly over time as the upgrade has settled in?

The black screen unlocking is known, and should be fix soon.

As for battery drain I find it better than 10.1.

Try power cycle by holding volume key, up and down, hold it until the phone boots to the blue squircle

Weird. But then I'm on a leak. Higher than the official. So if it really is a widespread issue, at least you know a fix is coming soon

Hey thanks for the advice, I don't know if its the power cycle or the OS finally settled down but my battery is improved now.

The black screen unlocking is known, and should be fix soon.

Yeah it's normal. It takes a while for the OS to settle in
