Hey I'm pretty sure this has been covered in multiple threads already but I don't have time to sort through hundreds of pages for the solution.

After installing this leak none of my android apps will open. They initial load about half way and then automatically close bringing me back to the home screen.

How to fix this? Side loading the. 810 android player did not work. Really don't want to reload the OS.

Also slightly related, when installing a new leak I have to perform a security wipe before or the install will fail every time. Slightly worries me. Anyone able to comment on this?

I'm pretty sure your Android player is corrupted...

Something similar happened to me, the only thing i suggest is run the autoloader again for 10.2 giving a clean install.

I also noticed that 10.2 didn't restore my backup files too well from 10.1. So i actually just resorted to installing my apps again through BlackBerry World and only restoring my Setting + Media with BB Link.

Nah those are so you can load games and apps that require certain privileges.

Your going to have to do this the long route, trust me I know I've done this like a million times lol

Reload the OS. It should solve your problem, don't restore your application data cuz it can also mess up your Android player ( if you backed up from a messed up android player). Restoring your Settings and Media should be ok.

I would reload OS and do not restore until I've checked everything is 100% functional.

I'm going to reload the OS tonight. Will see if it will fix the apps issue.

Update. Tried to reload OS. It says invalid file every time. Have done multiple security wipes but android app issue fixed! So Yay! HOWEVER, unable to text, view texts and Facebook and Gmail have login issues.

I have only restored settings and media. Getting late. Might security wipe in the morning and not restore anything if the problems don't magically fix themselves overnight
