Actually the U.S. carriers are slow. I think the lag is purposeful, to slow Blackberry growth.

I pressed Verizon level 2 tech support about 10.1 updates. She stated RIM hasn't given it to Verizon. After telling her about CrackBerry blogs and BB support for she put me on hold to inquire. Sure enough Verizon has had it for weeks but won't release it until they fully test it.
