I have had my Z10 for about a month and I love it. It is an awesome device. I have been experiencing a software update issue with it. When prompted to install update 10.0.9.422, I install it without issue. The issue is, every time I connect my Z10 to my laptop, or check manually for an update with the device, it say there is a software update and its the 10.0.9.422. After the install, the device says that 10.0.9.422 is the version installed, but it also says that 10.0.9.422 is available for update.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

You probably deleted an app that came on the device and it does that so it can install that app back.

Are you deleting any of the pre-installed apps (ie: YouTube) ?

You're 100% correct! I will stop doing that. I just don't like the clutter of things I don't use. Thank you for taking the time to help me!

Create a "junk" folder, stick all of the crapware in it you want to hide / ignore. Outa sight, outa mind.... . and no update nags from your carrier...

    That's what I did.
