Hi, my Z10 is the STL100-2 on O2 UK and I've already updated it to the latest version using wifi. But every time I plug it in my laptop, be it mac or pc, BlackBerry link always shows that I need to update but it's exactly the same firmware.

The same happens when I go on the phone settings and click 'check for updates'. Sometime it tells me that I have the latest version and other times it shows the "Latest" version and gives me the option to update. The silly thing is I update anyway even though I know I already did. So is this normal?

You are more than likely deleting apps that your service provider are pre-installing on the device in which this update is just going to re-install them. It is a common thing occurring to users who delete the bloatware that is coming pre-installed.

stop deleting apps, liek twitter, facebook etc etc. they will just keep coming back as a software update...

Or just ignore the update until the version number actually changes from what you already have installed.

Oh that explains it. Yeah I deleted foursquare and LinkedIn. Thank you guys!! I thought my zed was going senile
