    Here recently I keep seeing various BlackBerry apps announced as updated, but they're not showing in BlackBerry World?

    I'm used to waiting a day or two, but this is stretching beyond that.

    BlackBerry compass, weather, calculator, etc?

    Those specific ones are for Passport only, since all they do is get the Passport's shortcuts working.

    Actually, 10.3 only, but the only visible difference is on the Passport.
