Default Wallpaper Won't Set

Hey guys,

I'm having a problem. I recently e-mailed myself a picture I wanted to use as a wallpaper. I downloaded it to my phone. Opened up the picture. Clicked the options button > set as wallpaper. When i go to my main screen though, the wallpaper is not set, and the background has reverted to the default wallpaper (rogers). Nothing I'm trying is working. Other pictures that I try to set as my wallpaper do end up working though.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

BTW: I'm using the Bold Touch 9900 on OS 7 with the default theme

I dont know the reason why, but this wallpaper-problem seems to be a OS7-mannerism... But I know a solution (in my way): to introduce my idea I have to say, that I LOVE the CB-wallpaperchanger! To compensate the lean period of missing OS7-themes I love the wallpaperchanger, cause it renewed my default theme every 5 minutes (my setting). Install/Purchase the CB-wallpaperchanger (only two or three bucks at CB or Mobihand) and create a new folder (pictures). Than copy all your favorite walls into this new folder. Than set the wallpaperchanger in this way, that it browses all the walls from the new folder. Beside the fact, that your device becomes new every moment, ALL wallpaper are supported!!!!!!!! No problems with changing walls anymore! You can support the wallpaperchanger by renaming the walls before copying (avoid maybe existing special characters)

don’t know if you’ve resolved this already but i had the exact same problem. I figured it must be something to do with the size of the file so to get round it i downloaded a screenshot application, “QuickShot”, opened the image and took a shot. Saved as the background no problem after that
