Verizon wallpaper shows back up on reboot?

I recently got a Bold 9650 from Verizon with OS 6. Every time I reboot via battery pull or powering down the stupid default Verizon wallpaper comes back up. It's starting to get annoying. Any ideas? This is my 4th BB and I don't know what option could possibly be doing this?

Are you running an OS5 type theme for OS6 or the default theme?

I have the same exact issue running os 6 when you a battery pull out the wallpaper goes back to verizon wallpaper,this is also using the verizon os 6 default theme

Never had that happen, I use custom wallpapers on occasion and they always come up after a reboot.

Pretty sure this is a bug with a particular version of the OS.

Just upgrade to a different version and it should fix.

Yeah, I'm running the OS 6 version that came with the 9650 out of the box. I'm a software engineer and I've developed BB apps so I'm pretty familiar. Like Papped said, it has to be a bug. What a pain in the ***.
