how to remove the single row of icons off your 9810 main wallpaper page??

im drawing a total blank as to how to remove the single row of icons off my main page so it totally shows my wallpaper. i have a new 9810 which i totally love, but cant see where to make this change. i did it no problem on my 9700 which i ditched 4 days ago...

when i touch the screen and it minimizes the full icon page it leaves one row of icons visible instead of them vanishing altogether, so thats what i want to have happen. i grew up watching Lafleur, Drydenamd Robinson when Ballard was gutting the team...a no brainer as to who i'd support lol

Hold the top of the tab and drag down, this will produce an arrow up instead of the one row.
