I don't know of any live/animated wallpapers specific to the 9780, however, doing a simple google search will more than likely do the trick. As far as rain goes, I've not seen one yet, but I'm looking as well.

Keep in mind that any sort of animation or live paper/theme on your phone is going to suck up both memory and battery life.

I'm on a frantic googling search for your animated wallpapers or themes.

App world does have some live wallpapers/themes (under Themes > Nature) for the 9780, however they're not free. I've found that some 9700 themes will also work with the 9780, but it takes some fiddling.

I'm not sure BlackBerries can use live wallpapers.

I've seen a few themes with moving images built into the home screen, but never seen moving wallpapers.

Its a very nice theme BTW

I agree with Szotz, ..if at all there are live/ animated wallpapers, they are gonna be major battery guzzlers. Moreover to be able to use one to the optimum, you'll have to set a high backlight dim time, which will shorten the battery life even more.

ML is correct. The Matryx Theme http://forums.crackberry.com/f227/ma...remium-593489/ is the only animated wallpaper that I have seen and even this is part of a Premium - paid for - theme.

This does not mean that others aren't out there. I ain't looked.

I remember a free theme in AppWorld back when I used the 8520 that had a butterfly going around the screen... Let me see if I can find it...

EDIT: No dice. Not available on the 9780.

Yes Mr. Pete, I couldn't find something else, and to be honest, the theme is not expensive and worth it. It looks very nice, has the nice Matrix font, and although it does slow down your BB a bit, but it is a very small performance hit, I would say, about 15% slower. Still fast enough to do anything and multi task.

And the falling code is of very high resolution, looks really cool.

I agree. I also purchased this theme. Surprisingly it did not immediately drain my battery but then I use AddOnIs to put my phone into Standby after a 30 second wait.

It is a very cool theme. I still can't dodge bullets though.

Hahahha, after a while, you will just keep the code running

PS: Surprinsgly, it did not affect my battery too. Monitoring done with Meter Berry. I am very impressed.
