Can't Change wallpaper on 9930

So, I am guessing Verizon has there theme locked down so I can't change the wallpaper? Never a problem on other Blackberry's that I owned. Unless I'm missing something.

theme isnt locked, change the wall same way you change them on BB's in the past. go to pic, bb button, set as wallpaper

I am able to change mine on my Sprint 9930, but whenever I do a battery pull, it reverts tot he default Sprint wallpaper. Anyone else experiencing this?

Same here some wallpapers reset back to the default one, and some will work. I don't notice what pattern this follows and why this is happening at all.

RIM has to be one of the worst companies on eaerth to have such little influence on OS when they leave their phone for companies to pick and chose when and what to update. No changelogs or anything. Disgusting.

I'm on Sprint, as well, and my wallpaper stays after reboot. Doesn't revert. Weird!

Maybe it just doesn't like my choice of wallpaper! ;-)

I am on Sprint I have changed my wallpaper 3 times and it doesn't revert on a battery pull.

Options >> Display >> Home Screen Preferences >> Select "Change Wallpaper"

I am on Verizon and I had no problems changing my wallpaper. One of the first things that I did when I got the phone!

I can change my wallpaper, BUT,the top of the screen where the time is does not change. It wont allow me to change the entire screen to a solid color. I can get the bottom solid, but not the top. Any suggestions?

I noticed that pics downloaded from Facebook couldn't be set as Wallpapers.

mine has been working fine. the only time i wasnt able to change wallpaper was when one of my app was controlling my wallpaper.

i think it was "berry-weather" or "deToday" app.

are you sure none of your apps is controlling your wallpapers.
