Default Anyone Running CrackBerry Wallpaper Changer?

I just downloaded the free version of CB's wallpaper changer and I was wondering if it runs smoothly on the Torch? I haven't installed it just yet...

I'm hoping it's Not a battery killer.

Can I tell it to just select from my SD card?

Thanks for your comments.

I've been running it since day 1 with my torch. I payed for the app since I like new wallpapers every day. I have mine set to change every 24 hours, it does not drain my battery at all, also the extra addon's(quick change and quick save) work well with the app. You can have it just select from your SD card or your camera library.

I used the free version for several months on my 9780 and loved it so much that I got a theme that worked well to show off the wallpapers and went ahead and purchased the pro version. You can assign it to read just the pics or wallpaper on your media card.

I noticed the free version must select from CB. When I unselected all categories the app hangs waiting for a connection. I restarted my Torch 3 times so far. I guess I will have to purcase the full version as I only want to select from my SD card for now.

Thanks to all for your comments.

Default Updated to Pro Version 2.5

I installed Wallpaper Changer Pro (full version) yesterday. I noticed that my wallpaper changes sizes or gets distorted possibly after it rotates to landscape?

Is this a know bug? Could it be because the JPG file is 360 x 270 which is not the correct size for the Torch 9800? I am not sure if all my wallpapers are doing this yet?

Thanks for your comments.

You always want them to be 360x480, or yes it will be worse.

However, that's just the way the rotation works. 360x480 won't fit correctly if the orientation switches to 480x360, so there are two choices. Either zoom out or zoom in. It zooms in so the resolution looks a bit worse. However if you are already using the incorrect resolution image, it will look even worse...

Default My Pictures Sub-Folders No Longer Appear

I have been running the Pro version for a while now and I noticed today that when I created a new folder in Pictures, I wasn't able to select in Wallpaper changer because it would not appear in the list. I also noticed that I seemed to have created folders in store/home/user/pictures and SDCard/BlackBerry/pictures/.

What's the best way to remedy this without having to keep everything in the default pictures folder?

Does Wallpaper Changer have any limit as to the number of folders that can be displayed? I remember seeing at least two of my sub-folders.

Thanks for your comments.

I have my wallpapers folder in just SDcard/wallpapers and it works flawlessly. Perhaps because you made the sub folder in your picture library it doesn't recognize the folder but rather assumes you want to use the entire picture library? Not 100% sure on this one.
