BlackBerry is not dead. No matter how many times you think theyre done, BlackBerry stays in the news. After the mild success of the BlackBerry Priv last year, which just received Marshmallow, leaked images show off BlackBerrys next two Android phones. The devices are codenamed Rome and Hamburg.

BlackBerry CEO John Chen already confirmed that they are working on a couple of devices. Now we have our first look at them. Hamburg is a full touchscreen device while Rome has a*more traditional keyboard. Rome is also said to have a curved AMOLED display like the Priv. All we know about Hamburg is a rumored $400 price point.

The leaked images are on the more skeptical side of what we usually see. One photo is heavily blurred for no apparent reason. The only photo that appears to be a real photograph is cropped tightly. What do you think about these leaked photos?

As SOON as Chen knows for sure hardware will make money.

So if you think the PRIV will increase sales to close to a 800K without having to cut the ASP by next Earnings, one of the new phones ought to show up by Aug/Sept.

If you think that because the PRIV is overpriced and now pretty old in Android years... and that sales and ASP will actually fall by the next ER, it will come about the same time the PlayBook get BB10.

I kinda think Chen already knows what he is doing....
