In a way, I wish my passport would be more like th eVienna with a less square shape. I dont complaint though, I love the Passport and I take advantage of the width for sure but it just looks better the way the Vienna is designed...

I'm kind of with you on that. However, I wouldn't want my Passport replacement to be less wide. I'm so spoiled now.

I don't know. If Blackberry is trying to get serious about Android they need better specs than that at a reasonable price point. Other companies are pulling it off. Moto, LG, ASUS, etc.

They can start by ditching the idea that a 2mp FFC is good enough. Unfortunately, we live in a world where that's important to a certain demographic. Also ditch the stoic professional look. Go all in with something that Batman (or Alfred) would pull out of their pocket.

I would be less supprised if the screen resolution is a Full HD equivalent like 1152 x 1800 (AR 1.56) or 1200 x 1728 (AR 1.44).

When my wife saw my BlackBerry Passport she lost her iphone and never looked again..then my mom saw that spacious keyboard benefits so we got her a passport too
Recently me and the wife played with the Priv slider in the att store and the first thing I noticed was the keyboard is not as spacious as our passports.
I would like to see a Passport Plus..
Make the current passport longer therby making the screen 5inches plus..
Also the Nokia E7 which I still use for WiFi which connects and plays to flat screens via the red white and yellow cable is another design that is unique and awesome, and I don't think windows are using those patent

Except you need a screen that will be a fit for Android apps. Classic is not optimal for most Android apps. So this phone will fix that issue
