Unlocking Services for Curve 8900? Please HELP!
Hi, I just recently purchased a Blackberry Curve 8900 but it's for T-Mobile and I have AT&T. I know that I can unlock it and use it on AT&T but I don't know where to get the code from for a good price. I recently purchased an unlock code from Cellphoneunlockingonline.com and they scammed me. Never sent me my code after paying $30 for "rush" service. Anyone recommend a good company???? Please help! How is CellUnlock.net? Let me know, thanks!

Very true, as a matter of fact, if i remember correctly, with the MFI Multiloader you actually have to brick the phone on purpose and then restore the software in order to unlock it. Of course, you would need to know what you're doing, but if you do it can be done in around 30-40 mins and its FREEEEE lol.

Ok thanks a lot crackberry users! I guess I'll just give cellunlock.net a try. I did at least get a hold of them so I should be ok. Just didn't wanna lose my money again. Yeah the other way with the MFI loader seemed a bit complicated to me and I probably will make it a very expensive paper weight so I'll try to unlock code again, thanks to everyone!!

There is a company on Ebay, I won't directly announced the name because they don't want Ebay to know they are sending the Codes by e-mail less than 30 minutes after Acution closes, according to them Ebay require that they send the codes ny regular mail.
However, for less than $4 you will have your code for the 8900 in less than 30 minutes, just like I did. - 03-25-2009, 05:02 PM #19
Cellunlock.net was offering a free giveaway of unlock codes. Many users here got their codes that way.. If its not free the next easiest thing to do is find it on ebay for less than 4 bucks. They're very fast at sending codes with the 4 steps to unlocking the phone. I had my code in about 10 minutes and my bud got his code within 30 mins (and that was on the weekend like @ 10pm). I did it and worked easily and is permanent.
Dont pay over 10 bucks for it.. $30 for an unlock code is expensive..lol
Edit: I didnt realize erasat (comment above) said the same thing I did.Last edited by dannieloco; 03-25-2009 at 05:04 PM.

Ok thanks again to everyone for their quick responses. I ordered an unlock code this afternoon from cellunlock.net and they were awesome! After recently getting scammed by a different company I was a little iffy but went ahead and went with cellunlock and within about an hour they e-mailed me my code and it worked PERFECT! I am now using a T-Mobile Blackberry Curve 8900 unlocked on AT&T. Also, the internet and e-mail works too! I HIGHLY recommend cellunlock.net!!! Excellent company...
