Default Unlocking Blackberry 8520 from the UK for German SIM-Card
Hey guys.

im from germany and need your help.
i have a blackerry curve 8520 from the uk with vodafone sim-lock.
now i want to use my german sim-card, but it doesnt work!
i called vodafone germany and uk but they cant help me.
how can i get the (i think) mep2-code?
in the menu of blackberry is displayed "network - active"
the other are deactivated.

im sorry for my bad english

Yes you will need to order a mep2 code for your device, network will show disabled once unlocked and you will be able to use your german sim card in the device.

You need to get the unlock code and then insert it into your Blackberry device, it will remove the active SIM lock of your Blackberry using the MEP2 unlock code.

If you have the unlock code go to thew SIM card menu under the Advanced options of your Blackberry and type MEPD, then type MEP2 and the unlock code.
If you don't have it yet you can get it from any good blackberry unlocking website it takes only a few minutes to unlock you Blackberry ...
