unlocking 8350i
Hi, does anyone know how to unlock the nextel 8350i to b used for tmobile?

It cannot be done. The 8350i uses the iDEN network. T-Mobile is a GSM carrier. iDEN devices cannot be used on GSM networks.

- 07-27-2010, 12:09 AM #4 You're welcome. Sorry that it cannot be done. It is possible to use the 8350i on Boost, but many of the native BB apps will not work. There are some work-arounds that are possible.

Once IDEN is terminated, Boost won't be able to do anything with Nextel phones because they are a part of Sprint.
